How to Brown Ground Beef

Ground Beef is a visit for us for clean weeknight dinners! It cooks speedy and is best in recipes from Ground Beef Stroganoff to an amazing meaty Homemade Pasta Sauce. We prep quite a few floor pork in advance of time making life (and meal making plans) even easier!

1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil optional
salt & pepper to taste

Place oil in a skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
Add beef salt, pepper.
Cook over medium-high heat breaking up meat stirring only occasionally. Don't stir too much.
Continue cooking until no pink remains. Drain any fat.

Recipe Notes
Olive oil (or vegetable oil) is optional but helps the beef to brown better. Don't stir too much, cooking the beef without stirring allows it to actually 'brown' which adds great flavor!
