Salmon with Soy Honey and Wasabi Sauces

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup soy sauce

- 2 tbsp. honey

- 1 tbsp. prepared wasabi paste

- 4 salmon fillets, 12 ounces each

- Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

- 1 cup of light brown sugar (optional)

Preparations

1. Put the soy sauce, honey, and wasabi paste in a pot over medium heat on the stove. Stir occasionally until it starts to simmer; set aside to cool slightly.

2. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking dish by brushing it with canola oil or lightly coating the dish with non-stick spray.

3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper; put the salmon in the baking dish.

4. Pour soy mixture over top of the salmon fillets; bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done to your liking (check the internal temperature when done).

5. To serve, spoon some of the sauce over each fillet and serve as a dip for your Chinese food, or drizzle it over rice or noodles to provide an extra depth of flavor that will make your meal more interesting and offer something different than just regular old "barbecue soy sauce." 6....etc...
