GRAIN FREE POTATO BURGER

 We are making some veggie burgers and for those of you who feel like you’ve tried veggie burgers and then failed, this one is for you which is a grain-free potato burger. I’m making it with potatoes which is probably the easiest way to make a burger. Once you get the mash-up, they are really nice and soft. They’re basically like potato pancakes but we’re going to add a bunch of vegetables to them to make them really nice and yummy as well as healthy. So what I’ve done to start is


GRAIN FREE POTATO BURGER


Ingredients: 

1 lb. egg whites 

2 Tbsp. ground chia seeds 

2 cloves of garlic 

2 tsp. salt 

1/2 tsp. black pepper 

1/2 lb. sweet potatoes 

3-4 leaves of kale

 2 Tbsp. olive oil 



Directions: 

Use all ingredients (except kale and olive oil) to create a paste with a little water and season to taste with salt and pepper before adding the sweet potatoes to the food processor. 

Make sure all ingredients are well mixed together before adding the kale by hand. 

Cook the mixture in a seasoned skillet over medium heat until cooked to your liking. Serve garnished with extra chia seeds and kale. Enjoy!
