How To Make The Best Tasty Kale Salad Recipe


Ingredients:

2 bunches of kale, rinsed and torn into bite-size pieces

3 oranges, peeled and sectioned

1/2 cup fresh blueberries (frozen or canned) 

1/8 cup sweet red onion, finely chopped (red or pink onions can be used instead of red onion) 

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 

1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries 

1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 

1 tablespoon sugar Salt to taste Freshly ground black pepper to taste



Directions

To prepare kale: 

Wash, pat dry, remove center stem and tear kale into bite-size pieces. Set aside. 

To prepare salad dressing: 

In a small bowl combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Set aside. 

To prepare the kale salad: 

Place kale in a large bowl and add prepared dressing. Toss to coat well. Add orange sections, blueberries, onion, cranberries, and chocolate chips to the kale mixture and toss again until well combined. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
