Mmm... Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

1/4 cup of olive oil

1/2 cup fresh orange juice

salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons of freshly chopped garlic chives

1 small onion, chopped

3 cups of broccoli florets

1 large red bell pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons of red chili paste

1 lb. peeled shrimp

2 tablespoons of light soy sauce

2 teaspoons of sugar

Butter for the pan Sautéed shrimps

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the florets off of a fresh head of broccoli – try to keep them roughly the same size – and divide them into two even piles.

Place one pile on a sheet of aluminum foil, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then top the broccoli with another sheet of aluminum foil and seal it shut.

Place the packet in the oven for 15 minutes to steam the broccoli. After steaming, open up the packet, add an additional tablespoon of olive oil, and toss in three cloves of minced garlic – be careful not to burn yourself! Stir it all together until well mixed.

Turn off the heat in the oven while you prepare your shrimp. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and allow it to heat up completely before continuing. Then, add in the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes on each side before adding in the broccoli. Saute it together for another minute and enjoy!
