Spicy shrimp taco Recipe

Spicy shrimp taco Recipe


1 pound of shrimp (about 20-25) peeled and deveined, tails removed. Skip this step if you prefer not to use the shells at all.

1 cup of corn Tortilla chips

1/2 cup of shredded cheese

Chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.


In a small bowl mix together the chili powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside. In a large frying pan on medium-high heat add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. 

Then add in the shrimp and saute until they are cooked through. When shrimp are cooked transfer them to a bowl. Repeat step 2 with the 2nd 3 tablespoons of olive oil. 

Add shrimp to bowl with chili mixture as well. Add 2 more tablespoons of oil to the pan and add in the tortillas. Tear up about 6 tortillas into small pieces. 

Then begin to fry them in the pan until they begin to brown. In a medium-sized mixing bowl mix together the corn tortillas, shrimp, and chili mixture. Then add in the cheese and stir until mixed and melted. Serve immediately with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream if desired.
