Weight Loss Chicken Tandoori Recipe

Weight Loss Chicken Tandoori Recipe


1 lb. chicken

1/2 c. yogurt (full fat)

2 T. cilantro, chopped

1 t. ginger, grated

1 t. garlic, crushed

1 t onion, crushed and grated


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Combine the garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and ginger together in a bowl. Rub the chicken with spices and oil. 

Place the chicken skin-side up on a roasting rack that's been placed on top of a baking tray. 

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven and squeeze lemon juice over each piece. 

Grind pepper over each piece and garnish with coriander leaves or lemon wedges (optional). Serve with large dollops of Greek yogurt if desired.
