Shrimp Cocktail Recipe with the Best Sauce

Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp of parsley flakes

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

-  1 tbsp lemon juice

- 3 tbsp butter

- salt, black pepper, and cilantro as needed.

- 2 lbs fresh, raw shrimp

- 1 cup cocktail sauce

- 1/2 cup cocktail olives

- 1 cup cold salted water

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions:

1. Heat 3 tbsp of butter in a pan over medium heat and once melted add the shrimp and toss to coat for about two minutes. Add the water/soda combo and bring to a boil. Once it hits a boil cover the pot and set a timer for 1 minute.

2. Remove from heat, uncover, and drain liquid from shrimp (can be discarded or used as an extra flavoring agent for other dishes if desired).

3. Place drained shrimp on ice until cooled down (about ten minutes).

4. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the cocktail sauce ingredients.

5. After shrimp have cooled off (they shouldn't be cold) add them to the cocktail sauce, add salt and pepper if necessary, mix thoroughly then garnish with cilantro and celery.

6. Place into a dish and serve with cocktail olives. Enjoy!
