Tuna and Potato Cakes

This recipe is a simple dish made with nothing more than mayonnaise, mashed potatoes, tuna, and cream. The preparation is surprisingly easy to make and will only take fifteen minutes of your time.

Tuna and Potato Cakes

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 (8 ounces) can of tuna drained in a sieve

1.5 cups boiled potatoes, mashed

3/4 cup cream (optional)

Place the boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them together until crumbly.

Add the tuna that has been drained through the sieve, mayonnaise, and cream is used. Leave to stand for at least fifteen minutes before mixing into a cake batter by stirring well to blend.

If freezing this recipe, note that each individual cake should be wrapped individually in aluminum foil before it is frozen.

This will prevent the cakes from sticking to one another while they are frozen.

They can be thawed and cooked in one or two batches, depending on their size.
